Subject: CBAM Andernach the 01.09.2023

Dear Business Partner,
we have been confronted with several uncertainties from our customers about
how to deal with the CO² Compensation Act (CBAM) in the future.
We would like to take this uncertainty away from you.

As our business partner, you do not have to deal with the issue of CBAM
separately. The task is incumbent on us, the alpha metall group as importer, to
deal with the topic of CBAM, which has been decreed by the EU, in order to
guarantee a smooth business process with you as our customers, also in the
future.

Very likely there will be a lot of adjustments and changes in our normal
workflow in the initial Phase of the implementation, but we are convinced that
we can keep these as small as possible. We will be happy to keep you informed
in this regard.
